This site sets no cookies of its own. The workshop pages load the Meta Pixel, and you can turn it off. Here is what is saved in your browser, and how to wipe it.

mithub.club
In short

mithub.club sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics product. The one exception is the Meta Pixel on the workshop pages, which loads with those pages and can be turned off at /taller?pixel=off. What the site saves lives in your browser's local storage, never reaches us, and exists so the site remembers your language and your choices.

No cookies of ours, one pixel you can turn off

mithub.club does not set cookies of its own, and as of the date at the top of this page it runs no analytics product: no Google Analytics, no Vercel Web Analytics. The one exception is the Meta Pixel, on two pages only, /taller and /taller-gracias, It loads when you open those pages. To turn it off, open /taller?pixel=off once: from then on it does not load in that browser. If you said "No, gracias" to the notice these pages used to show, that answer still holds.

If that changes, this page changes first, and it will name the product and say what it measures before it goes live.

The Meta Pixel on the workshop pages

  • What it records. That you opened /taller, that you pressed the button to write to us on WhatsApp, and that you reached /taller-gracias (counted as a ticket purchase, with its price). It does not read what you write to us.
  • Why. To know which of our ads brought the people who signed up, and to show workshop reminders on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited the page.
  • What Meta stores. The _fbp cookie (about 90 days), and _fbc if you arrived from one of our ads. Meta handles that data under its own privacy policy, and you can change how Meta uses it in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
  • Turning it off or on. Open /taller?pixel=off to turn it off in that browser, and /taller?pixel=on to turn it back on. Blocking third-party cookies or clearing the site data for mithub.club also works.

What the site saves in your browser

All of this is local storage. It sits on your device, it is readable only by this site, and none of it is ever sent to MitHub.

KeyWhat it holdsWhy
mithub-langen or esSo the site opens in the language you picked instead of asking again.
mithub-routeb2b or b2cSo the home page shows the companies view or the talent view, whichever you were on.
mh-flujoYour draft answers in the company door or the talent doorSo a half-finished form survives a closed tab. It never leaves your browser until you press send, and "Start over" deletes it.
mh-dicten or esThe language the dictation button listens in.
mh-shortThe shortlist of talent profiles you saved while browsingSo the people you picked are still there when you come back. Only on your device.
mh-armarThe team you are assembling on the talent pageSame reason. It never reaches us, and the people in it are never told.
mithub-aula-v1Which classroom lessons you have marked as doneSo your progress bar is right on your next visit.
mithub-aula-moduloThe classroom module you had openSo the classroom reopens where you left it.
sb-<project>-auth-tokenYour sign-in session, if account sign-in is switched on and you sign inSo you stay signed in. Written by Supabase, not by us. Sign-in is not switched on today, so this one is not being set.
mh-preview-userA placeholder sign-in, only on a local development machineNever set on the live site.
mh-ads-consentyes or noSet to no when you turn the Meta Pixel off (/taller?pixel=off), so it stays off.

What other companies store, once you load them

  • YouTube. Two different things happen, and it is worth being exact. The video player loads only after you press play, in privacy-enhanced mode. But on pages that show a video card, the thumbnail picture is fetched from Google's YouTube image servers when the page loads, and every page on this site opens a connection to them in advance to make that fetch faster. That request carries your IP address, your browser and the page you are on, before you click anything. Google does not set a cookie for it. Once you do press play, YouTube's own storage and terms apply.
  • Google Fonts. The typefaces load from Google, which means Google sees the request and your IP address. It does not set a cookie for it.
  • Vimeo. The older landing pages kept at /legacy-wp/ embed Vimeo players, which load with the page. Everywhere else on the site there is no Vimeo.
  • Cloudflare cdnjs. Only if you use the "upload something" option: your browser downloads the library that reads PDFs. Your file is not uploaded anywhere.
  • WhatsApp and Instagram. Only when you choose to open them to send us a message. At that point you are in their app, under their rules.
  • Supabase. If account sign-in is switched on and you sign in, it stores your session in your browser so you stay signed in.
  • Meta Pixel. Only on /taller and /taller-gracias, unless you turned it off. See the section above.

Clearing it

  • Press "Start over" in the company or talent form and that form's draft is gone.
  • Clear site data for mithub.club in your browser settings and everything in the table above is gone.
  • A private or incognito window keeps none of it after you close it.
  • Blocking local storage does not break the site. You lose the conveniences: it forgets your language and it will not hold a draft.
