SMS Terms and Conditions
The three message programs MitHub runs, how you join one, what it costs, and how to stop it in one word.
MitHub runs three separate text message programs. You join one by ticking its own box and giving us your number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to leave that program, or HELP for help. Agreeing is never a condition of buying anything from us or of being considered for a job.
The three programs
MitHub messages from +1 706 403 3251. It does not run one big message list: it runs three, and they are registered, consented to and left separately. Being in one does not put you in another.
| Program | Who it is for | What it sends |
|---|---|---|
| Company service | A person at a company that asked us for talent or is already working with us. | Answers to what you asked, candidate submissions, interview times, and updates on an open search. |
| Candidate recruiting | A candidate in an application or a hiring process. | Confirmation that we got your application, what stage it is at, interview times and reminders, documents we need, and an offer when there is one. |
| Marketing | Anyone who ticked the marketing box, company or candidate. | Courses, live sessions, events, new programs and MitHub services. |
Example messages
- Company service: "MitHub: Ana is available Thursday 10am or 2pm ET for the GTM Engineer role. Reply with one and we lock it in. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
- Candidate recruiting: "MitHub: your interview with the company for the Revenue Engineer role is Tuesday 9am ET. Link: [url]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
- Marketing: "MitHub: the free live session on the first mile is this Wednesday 6pm Bogota. Save a seat: [url]. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
How you join a program
You join by giving us your mobile number and ticking the box for that program. The boxes are never pre-ticked, they are separate from each other, and they are separate from the request you came to make.
- On a MitHub form, where you can read the exact words next to the box before you tick it.
- By writing to our number first. If you text us, we answer you, and that is the conversation you started.
- By telling a MitHub person or an AI voice agent on a recorded call that you want messages on a specific program, in which case the recording and the transcript are the record.
How often we message
Message frequency varies. It depends on what is happening, not on a schedule:
- Company service: as many as the search needs. Busy weeks are several a week, quiet ones are none.
- Candidate recruiting: tied to your process. A few during an active application, none when nothing is moving.
- Marketing: we aim at no more than four a month.
What it costs
Message and data rates may apply. MitHub does not charge you for messages. Your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan, and that is between you and them. Check with your carrier if you are not sure.
HELP
Reply HELP to any message and you get back who we are and how to reach a person. You can also call or text +1 706 403 3251, write to contacto@mithub.club, or message +57 320 757 7561 on WhatsApp.
STOP
Reply STOP to any message and we stop. We send one confirmation and then nothing more. STOPALL, END, QUIT, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE all do exactly the same thing, and so does plain language: if you tell us to stop in your own words, on any channel, we stop.
- STOP stops everything on that number. All three programs, and the calls as well, not just the one the message came from. We do not make you send a second request for the other channel.
- If you only want one thing stopped and the rest left running, say so in your own words, or use the privacy request form, which lets you pick channel by channel.
- We act on a stop request immediately, and in any case within the time the rules allow.
- We keep a record that you asked. That is what makes it stick.
- You can come back later by ticking the box again.
Delivery and carriers
Messages are delivered by mobile carriers, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed. If something time sensitive has to reach you, we also send it by email.
The programs work on the mobile carriers in the countries we message. If you change your number, tell us, so that messages meant for you do not reach whoever gets that number next.
Age
You must be 18 or older, and the number you give us must be yours or one you are allowed to give.
Privacy
What happens to your number is set out in SMS Privacy and in the Privacy Policy. The short version: mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.
Changes
If these terms change, the effective date at the top changes. If a change would widen what you agreed to receive, we ask you again rather than assume.
